On March 13th, Nebraska Extension in Knox County delivered an After-school library program in Creighton. Hosted by the Creighton Public Library the program, Healthy Living, Health Rocks, taught you about the importance of making healthy lifestyle choices! With some warmer weather, we were able to start this program outside, getting some fresh air and exercise! During the lesson, youth were given a worksheet with different food groups to help them identify healthy food choices! Youth were also taught the importance of sleep, exercise and eating healthy food! To lock this all in, at the end of the program, everyone got to make and enjoy a delicious healthy snack! Thank you to the Creighton Public Library for hosting Nebraska Extension!
