National Police Woman Day is celebrated each year on September 12th.

The day acknowledges and celebrates the contributions of female law enforcement officers who protect and serve their communities around the country.

Please join us in thanking Deputy Berenice Vallejo of the Dixon County Sheriffs Office for her courageous and compassionate work for the County! Deputy Vallejo proudly serves and is setting the example for future female officers.

And Thank you, Portland Police Officer Lola Baldwin, for paving the way for our future! In 1908, Officer Baldwin was the first sworn female Officer.
