The Haskell Ag Lab Family Field Day is free and open to the public. There is something for all ages. Activities include farm research tours, Northeast Arboretum tours, Backyard Farmer panel, Al Dutcher will talk about weather and climate conditions, educational trailers and activities for children, demonstrations on self defense and healthy snacks. Farm safety, landscaping, health information, hops, presentations on Nebraska land values, pollinators and many other things are all part of the day. Drs. Ben and Erin Schroeder of Heartland Docs, DVM TV show will be here to meet and answer questions. In addition, the Life Serve Bloodmobile will be on the grounds so you can roll up your sleeve and donate blood. The event will have food trucks on site. Each person will receive $10 in tickets for use at the food trucks when they sign in at the registration table. Registration begins at 8:30 AM and will continue throughout the day.
