Census Bureau: More women than men in South Sioux in 2019

Of the 12,896 people living in South Sioux in 2019, 50.7 percent (6,541) were women and 49.3 percent (6,355) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the NE Nebraska News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 3,805-to-3,657. In the 65 and over age range, there were 934 females and 761 males.
