Wayne State College enrolls 2,975 undergrads

At Wayne State College, 91 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 56 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Wayne enrolled 3,633 students in fall 2018, including 2,975 in undergraduate and 658 in graduate programs, data shows. 7.9 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

85 percent of undergraduates are residents of Nebraska, and 14 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (81 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (8 percent).
